Vendor Information

The Bazaar at Border Station, although a brand new venue, it is rapidly increasing customer traffic from both sides of the border. Retail as well as wholesale customers are quickly finding the great value and convenience the Bazaar’s location and vendors have to offer.

We welcome your interest in being part of the Bazaar. Our vendors are very important to us. We will always provide you with the best possible opportunity to promote and sell your merchandise.

The Bazaar is a professional organization that abides by all governmental rules, codes and regulations and expects all vendors to do the same. The following information includes rules and regulations we require from all our vendors when issuing a sellers license agreement.

City of San Diego Business Tax Certificate

All vendors must have a current City of San Diego Business Tax Certificate with the Bazaar’s address included as the main address of operation (4570 Camino de la Plaza, San Ysidro, CA 92173).

The Tax Certificate is issued by the City of San Diego, Office of the City Treasurer, Civic Center Plaza Lobby located at 1200 3rd Avenue, San Diego, CA 92101. Telephone # (619)615-1500.

California State Board of Equalization Seller’s Permit

All vendors at the Bazaar must have a sellers permit before they begin selling any merchandise. Information regarding the Seller’s Permit can be obtained by contacting the State Board of Equalization located at 1350 Front Street, Room 5047, San Diego, CA 92101 or calling (619) 525-4526.

Other Licenses and Permits

Depending on what products you are selling there may be other license or permit requirements, such as city/county health permits for anyone selling food items.

Prohibited Merchandise

Vendors shall not sell or display any merchandise that the Bazaar has prohibited. A written notice listing all merchandise prohibited for sale at the Bazaar (including but not limited to weapons, drugs and drug paraphernalia) shall be given to all vendors before they begin selling at the Bazaar.


Sellers License Agreement

Sellers’ License agreements at the Bazaar are issued on a month to month basis. Prices will vary depending on space location within the Bazaar. In addition, a one time refundable deposit is required before occupying the sellers space. License agreements can be purchased any time during regular business hours. Wednesday – Sunday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and on Tuesday (open for vendors only) 12:00 noon – 5:00 pm

Vendor Space

All vendor spaces are 20’x20’, with a canopy cover and most cases include a 12’x 8’ metal container for storing inventory. Rates will vary depending on location. Contact the Bazaar’s office for rates and promotions.
